He is comparing premium pump gas with high octane race gas. When premium unleaded costs 3.50 a gallon, High octane race gas costs about 9.00 a gallon. But I do agree its way to much money for something that cost $.05 to manufacture. Make your own, go pick up some OKG, and some MALTODEXTRIN and put in anything else you want.
