It’s going to be exciting, I will be running The Denver Gorilla Run on October 25, 2008. The race benefits the Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund and starts downtown at The Wykoop Brewing Company. The race is 5.6k or 3.5 miles. The Wynkoop Brewing Company is also featuring a Silverback Smoked Porter for the event, so I am looking forward to trying that beer out after a hard fought 5.6k in a Gorilla Costume.

The race cost is listed here and it’s $99.95 for first time entry, however that does include a Gorilla Costume that you get to keep, just in time for Halloween. I’m looking forward to this race and I can honestly say that I have always wanted a Gorilla Costume, I can’t say exactly what for, but it’s sort of like a black suit and pair of black dress shoes, all men should have one in their wardrobe.

Also, just wearing a Gorilla costume is not enough, the runners dress the Gorilla Costume as well. So let me know if you have any ideas for me. Also, my fellow blogger Vanilla will also be running this race, so let the fastest Gorilla win.
