I disagree. Lifting weights increases muscle, yes, but it also increases your fat burning ability. So, it is my belief that it is better to carry 5lb of muscle vs. 5lb of fat.

I guess I am assuming that is why you think lifting weights will make you slower. But then again, you contradict yourself somewhat with #12</description>
